Subluxation and Adjustment

Subluxation
A condition resulting from the body's inability to adapt to physical, chemical or emotional stress, which in turn causes a disruption of the nerve flow and a loss of the body's ability to heal.

Subluxations are caused by any stress that the person cannot adapt to. The stress can be physical (car accident, fall, repetitive traumas), mental (work stress, family crisis, personal issues) or chemical (environmental toxins, drugs, cigarettes, processed foods). At first, subluxations are painless; they are silent like a cavity in a tooth. However, the more stress we accumulate throughout our lives the less able we are to adapt to them. The subluxations place so much irritation on the nerve system that it can no longer "read" the environment correctly and therefore sends the wrong signals to the body and we began to feel sick, in pain, tired, unfocused, stressed and so much more as our bodies begin to "breakdown".

Adjustment
An adjustment is a releasing of the subluxation in order to reconnect the brain to the body. The adjustment reestablishes proper nerve flow and the natural healing process begins.

Dr. Steve uses passive, non-invasive technology to detect the subluxations and he specializes in low force adjustments making it easy for everyone, newborn to the elderly, to be adjusted.
