Dr. Barry Gjerdrum

Dr. Barry Gjerdrum was born and raised in Calgary, Canada where he attended the University of Calgary. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology while working in the ski industry. It was at this time that his interest in natural health care and his desire to help people brought him to chiropractic.

In 1995 he graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in California and has been in private practice since 1996. He and his wife have settled in the Green Lake area of Seattle where his focus is on family wellness care. He is currently completing his diplomatete in pediatric studies and hopes to open an outreach facility for families in need in the near future.

Dr. Gjerdrum is active in a number of state and national organizations including the Washington State Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Christian Chiropractic Association and the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance. He is proficient in several chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Activator and Webster’s breech technique.

His interests are focused around triathlon as he has just completed his first Ironman triathlon held in August of 2001 in Penticton, British Columbia.
